this shot was taken when I first started to learn how to use a camera. I was out in the country side in Denmark with my father using his nikon f3. I am actually quite pleased with the way it turned out now, looking back at it. I had originally discarded it as a bad shot because of all the grain. however I think this shot would be quite plain without it. the grain portrays a totally different feeling and adds to the shot, in my own opinion.

I love the grain, I think it adds to the atmosphere of this image. Great capture.

Yea the grain was not intentional. I was shooting at way to high of an iso for the circumstances. But thats how we learn. I think I will leave it the way it is and find another use for it in a manip sometime. hopefully that way I will be able to salvage it.

I like the idea of the grain, but I don't like the way it was executed. I wish it were smoother and not so pixelated/clumped (like in the area on the tree). Nevertheless, I really do think it's a cool idea. It reminds me of a Seraut painting, and that is very cool. I'd give it another shot with your grain distribution, but it's not that big of a deal.
